Would you like to book a holiday but are concerned that you'll not get your money back if the foreign travel advice changes with regards to COVID-19? At Eliza was here, we can't predict the future, but we've been working hard to make sure the run-up to your holiday is as stress-free as possible by committing to a 14-day cash refund for all bookings. 

Cash refunded within 14 days for all bookings

  • If COVID-19 causes the foreign travel advice for your destination to change 2 weeks before your departure, you will get a cash refund within 14 days. 
  • All refunds will be returned directly to your bank account within 14 days, even if you booked the holiday using a Refund Credit Note or Holiday Refund Note.
  • As soon as we are notified about your holiday cancellation (within two weeks before your departure), we will contact you via e-mail. 
  • If you book a last-minute holiday (within 6 weeks of departure) and your destination has a negative travel advice, you can still take advantage of our Premium Exchange Guarantee and rebook your holiday up to 2 weeks before departure.

  • If the foreign travel advice changes within 14 days of your departure, due to COVID-19, you will get a cash refund within 14 days. If applicable, you will get an email from us with further instructions. 
  • Eliza was here will follow the foreign travel advice as published on GOV.UK - if it is not possible to travel to a destination, you will be able to request a full refund within 14 days of your departure date. 
  • The cash refunded within 14 days applies to all bookings.
  • The lead booker will be able to request the refund via My Eliza within 14 days of the original departure date. 
  • Eliza was here will refund the full amount paid within 14 days of confirming the banking details of the lead booker. 
  • The cash refund within 14 days applies to both self-drive and flight-inclusive package holidays.

    1. If negative travel advice is announced for your destination and it's 14 days or less before your holiday is due to start, please wait for further instructions via email. You will be informed via email. 
    2. If you book a holiday due to start in 14 days or less the option to cancel and get a full cash refund will be available to you. 
    3. Follow the prompts within your My Eliza account and await further instructions to confirm your banking details.
    4. Your money will be refunded within 14 days (Ofer we've received confirmation of your banking details).

    Please note that it will not be possible to request a refund any earlier than 14 days before your departure. If the foreign travel advice changes earlier (for example 16 days before your departure) you will have to wait to request your refund.
