After arriving at Paphos airport, the adventure begins immediately in the rental car. Via winding roads, we drive past banana plantations, vineyards and ancient buildings. The sky is clear blue, the sun is shining and my friends are singing along to the local Cypriot music station. And then we see our villa.
Elena's niece is already waiting for us with a big smile. One by one we fall silent. The cosy living room in Cypriot style, the thick stone walls, the authentic tiles, and what a comfortable kitchen! The orange trees are full of fresh orange fruits. I smile and yes, the private pool is also surrounded by beautiful greenery. And do I see a jacuzzi there?
When, a little later, we sit on our terrace with a Cypriot wine and discuss what we want to see this week, I sit back and relax. "You know the way, I like to be surprised," I say contentedly.

Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
