After my first holiday on Chalkidiki I fell in love and didn't want to leave. And although Chalikidiki, like Peloponnese and Epirus, is connected to the mainland of Greece, I find myself on a tropical island here on the Aegean Sea. The peninsula has three 'toes', namely Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos. I can't get enough of the golden yellow beaches, the fascinating nature and the cosy fishing villages. And besides all that, the local food here is delicious! I have often visited 'food festivals' and tasted everything. Chalkidiki has conquered my heart!
What makes Chalkidiki so special is that you can make all kinds of trips there. It is a romantic destination for a honeymoon and I have a number of locations here where you can find each other completely, with nothing and no one around you. However, I regularly come across families who have chosen Chalkidiki as the destination for a holiday with children and have stayed in a typical Greek holiday home. A versatile piece of Greece with something for everyone! Want to book a small holiday to Chalkidiki in the summer? On the Greek Islands I have many authentic locations of which the owners often only have a few places available. So be there on time! Good to know: a flight holiday to Chalkidiki always includes a rental car and accommodation.
