Pavlos and Popi were absolutely right. In fact, I don't think words can quite describe the sunset on this part of Chalkidiki. As recommended by the Greek couple, I installed myself on a comfy lounger by the private pool. What a magnificent view! As far as the eye could see, the sea was shimmering in the last sun rays of the day with Mount Athos by the horizon.
This stunning little location is owned by Vasilis and Elena. They told me that Vasilis’ parents had laid the foundation for the now modern villas. They built their first hotel in the late eighties and Vasilis eagerly learned everything there is to know about service and hospitality. No wonder he wanted to keep up the tradition! In 2014, he and Elena built eleven unique, luxurious villas to offer their guests a home away from home in a gorgeous environment.
Mission accomplished! Since my arrival a few days earlier, I was being pampered to the extreme. And there is so much to do that I didn’t have a single moment of boredom. I had tried the sauna and visited the picturesque town of Paliouri. The only thing that was the same every day, was nightfall. I would retreat to the incredible villa to enjoy the most beautiful sunset.
