A long, long time ago, the Austrian empress Sissi landed on Curfu and fell in love with the island. She chose a beautiful location and built a summer palace with gorgeous gardens. She had picked just the right spot, where nature freely blooms and grows, palm trees wave and the sea shimmers in all its azure blue beauty. And it wasn’t far from this wondrous location, on the same quiet hill, that I found another little palace. It belonged to Niki.

As I arrived for my holiday at Niki Sunrise Apartments, the sun was shining high in the sky. The owner, Nikos, had been waiting for me in front of the off-pink building and its picturesque little balconies. No matter where I’d go, I could see the sea: by the large swimming pool, in the beautiful blossoming garden. Nikos opened the door to the balcony of my apartment and I smiled of joy.

There I was. Like a princess overlooking the sea from her platform. I could totally understand empress Sissi. And Nikos! Once you arrive on this hill, you realise you may have found one of Corfu's most beautiful spots.

The best way to discover your destination is by car!

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.

Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested.
