Lying by the pool, I was struck by the magical view for the third time in half an hour. All I could see were countless white cottages in a green landscape and the endless blue sea. The sun was shining and just behind me was my ultimate Greek dream: white apartments one next to the other positioned in a stepwise fashion, blue shutters, and flowers and grapevines crawling over the pergola. The owner of Nymphes Apartments, Pepy, walked by laughing. I smiled because I absolutely love her. My morning had begun in her office full of books with tips and drawings of all the children who had stayed there over the years.
Nymphes’ style is authentic as can be. ‘Have a taste’, Pepy grabbed some herbs from the garden for the newly arrived guests and explained how nature grows and blooms in its purest form here. I sighed of sheer joy as I opened my book and dreamed away. A man was peacefully swimming laps in the pool. A woman flipped a page of her book. Slowly dozing off, I was trying to keep my eyes open. This spot is just too beautiful to fall asleep. That day was all about enjoying this magnificent place, the next day I would find my way to the beach just around the corner. Blissful!
