I walked out of the airport and felt a warm, welcoming breeze. As I checked my watch, I realised it was only ten in the morning. This was going to be a hot day.
After a 30-minute drive with the Cretan sea on my left and gorgeous rugged slopes on my right, I arrived at the charming town of Koutouloufari. I was about to visit a Greek family. I spotted a coffee shop and walked in for some iced coffee. I sat down at a table and took a sip. ‘Where can I find Danae's Villas?’, I asked the barista. She walked me outside and pointed at the hill. ‘Straight ahead and to the right!’, she said. I thanked her and got back into my car.
A couple of minutes later, I arrived at the location. Danae had been waiting for me. ‘Welcome to Danae’s Villas’, she said. She took my suitcase and walked me to the estate. We crossed a gorgeous garden while Danae proudly told me about her four multi-colour villas. ‘Are you ready to check out your villa, Eliza?’, she asked. I started to feel butterflies and nodded enthusiastically. She told me that the green villa would be all mine for the weekend. ‘Green is the colour of life, I think it suits you’, she explained. As I opened the door to the villa, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The villa has a modern yet elegant interior. Outside, by the pool, all I could hear was a soft breeze blowing through the trees. The panoramic view stole my heart immediately. Yes, Danae was right, maybe green is my colour. Life sure is good!

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
