"Stand still Eliza, and I will take a photo" Today I am with friends in the beautiful town of Rethymnon. It is such a nice city to wander around in the maze of picturesque streets. But also the shops and the many terraces are abundant and I enjoy it to the fullest. I pose in front of a beautiful bougainvillea and we walk on to look for a nice restaurant.
We just had a delicious meal in the Venetian harbour and I am still enjoying a cup of coffee. "You are sleeping at Rimondi Boutique Hotel tonight, right, Eliza?" Yes tonight is the night. This hotel has been on my wish list for a long time. It is located in the heart of the old town of Rethymnon and I had a hard time choosing which room to stay in. A room with a combination of traditional, authentic and modern facilities or do I choose a superior room with a jacuzzi?
Giannis gives me a tour and he tells me that he has been working with great pleasure in the hotel for years. Rimondi consists of two buildings and the buildings are directly opposite each other, separated by a small walking street. It is wonderfully quiet in the hotel and upon entering I immediately notice the romantic and charming style. And then the pool wow! It is located in a cute patio surrounded by palm trees and lots of greenery. It is the ideal place to relax after a day in Rethymnon. I am already looking forward to tomorrow morning because after breakfast I will treat myself to an ultimate treatment in the wellness. Still thinking about what it will be, but I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.
