I was enjoying the meandering roads with the sea on my right-hand side. No rush! My last holiday in Epirus had been a while ago and I couldn’t wait to relish their souvlaki once again. I was on my way to my good friend Paulos who had been trying to get me to this Greek destination for months.
And with good reason! He manages a unique location called Sivota Sunset Villas together with his cousin Christos. Modern villas with a small-scale character perched against a mountain. A dream come true for the Bolosis family; to pamper their guests and share the beauty of Sivota. The location was carefully picked as they live in the area themselves. His father had owned this piece of land for years and Paulos was more than happy to inherit the landscape. Building these villas was a dream come true for the family. Typical stone walls, surrounded by nature and above all, silence; all ingredients for a holiday destination away from the masses.
And I was just minutes away from it all. As the name suggests, I was headed for a remarkable sunset. I couldn’t wait!
