A shaded spot on the outdoor patio was all I needed for hours to come. What started with a cup of coffee and Greek delicacies ended with generous amounts of wine and some great company. My friend Ioanna and I were reminiscing and catching up on our adventures on this magnificent island in Greece.
I was all ears when Ioanna told me about her very own creation: Sant’ Agata Villas. After many years in the hotel industry, she took the art of hospitality to the next level by building a cosy space where guests feel right at home. As she was forging her plans to make this dream come true, she stumbled upon a piece of land that was empty apart from a single wild pear tree. And when studying the history of Sant’ Agata, she quickly learned that the wild pear tree is the symbol of the region. That was when it hit her: it was predestined for her to follow the dream of creating her very own holiday location. And here she was, sitting in the shade of the same wild pear tree, sharing this unique story with yours truly. It dawned on me that a remarkable holiday on Kefalonia was about to begin.

When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
