My good friend Nestoras and I were sitting on a hill after a long hike, enjoying the view of a town and a bay. I was overwhelmed with joy. All those vast fields, flowers and forests. And all I could hear were sheep bells, a church bell and the trees rustling in the wind. The first lights were being lit and Nestoras told me he had another surprise in store for me. He got up and took me to an idyllic world called Harvest Moon.
Hidden between the trees, I saw a beautiful pink building. The lights by the pool ignited and we met Tassos, the owner, on the hillside. He pointed at the greenery and the sea down the hill. Time seemed to have stopped here. ‘Such serenity’, I sighed. Tassos showed me around the apartments. ‘There are only five of them so it's never too busy’, he smiled. The apartments ooze respect for nature and were built in the local style. Patios with reed canopies, balconies with beautiful views and blossoming flowers. The comfortable apartments have rustic interiors and lots of windows.
I laid down by the pool and stared at the moon. A deep sigh: magical joy just the way it was intended.
