The beautiful surroundings brought us to this place, we couldn't get enough of the view. Because we didn't want to keep it to ourselves, we decided to create a place here to share it with friends and family. With that thought, Stone House Villas was born. I look at Katerina and see a twinkle in her eye as she talks about the villas. While putting on my sunglasses I look at the green hills of Sami and the island of Ithaki in the distance. I understand exactly what she means!
"We also wanted to create a sense of home in the villas themselves," she says, walking towards the villas. Do you want to see it? Quickly I run after her. When she opens the door of one of the villas, the authentic furniture immediately catches my attention. I step inside and see the stone walls, which create a cosy, homey atmosphere. But when we step outside through the terrace doors, I am completely sold. The view that made Katerina fall in love with this place can also be admired from here.
I plop down on one of the chairs and Katerina pours me a freshly squeezed juice. "It's too early for wine," she chuckles. It's like I've known her for years. I've found that feeling of home.
