It was early in the morning on the first day of my holiday on Lefkas. And what a day it was! The sun was shimmering in the water. I held my hair while my beloved Lefkas’ wind welcomed me back. I relished the feeling as the ferry was slowly approaching the island. All of a sudden, on my right-hand side, something caught my eye.
Five colourful villas just off the coast of the azure blue Ionian Sea. I quickly looked around. That Greek gentleman over there, he must know! I walked over and pointed to the magnificent scene in the distance. ‘What are those villas called?’ I wanted to scream with enthusiasm. He relieved me of my suffering: ‘Amarandos Villas’. I smiled and sat down next to him.
’Amarandos has a special meaning’, he continued. ‘Amarandos is a famous and rare little plant native to Lefkas. It has beautiful yellow flowers and a delicious aroma all year round. Where does it grow? Near the sea in between the rocks.’ I sighed and experienced yet again how happiness can sneak up on you out of nowhere.

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
