Sometimes you have such a moment of intense happiness. It often only lasts a few seconds and then it's as if your heart lifts for a moment. I feel privileged, because one just slipped by. I was paddling on the steps in the pool. The sun was shining on the water and suddenly I saw it: a palm tree waving on the water surface. The mountains sloped halfway up and right at the top the umbrellas fluttered in front of the ancient boulders. In front of me on this water surface a masterful painting revealed itself. I bent forward slightly and yes, there I was. And the beautiful thing is: I am still walking around in that painting called Villagio Magnolia.
In fact, happiness overwhelms you here from the moment you arrive. There is something special about this villa. Villagio Magnolia has a somewhat Italian look. Not surprising, because during the Second World War this was the headquarters of the Italian army. Owners Spiros and Maria renovated the four buildings with a big wink to the past. And I have to admit, they more than succeeded. And what I can also appreciate so much is that they make really fantastic, homemade sweet treats for their guests. There is also no lack of olives; right next to Villagio Magnolia is the olive museum of Maria. As a valued guest, you're welcome to come take a look, and I won't let you tell me twice...
