Sitting on the roof deck at Paris Village, I was struck by the magnificent view for the second time in half an hour. All I could see was a gorgeous garden, olive trees and the blue sea in the distance. The sun was shining and just behind me was my ultimate Greek dream: white apartments one next to the other positioned in a stepwise fashion, waving palm trees and the stunning bougainvilles. The owner of Paris Village, Angela, walked by laughing. I smiled because I absolutely love her. That morning, my day had started with a frappé together with Angela. She had enthusiastically told me about Peloponnesos: the region that stole her heart as well as Wim’s, her husband.
I wrote down all her tips: the authentic tavern in Chrani, a little town nearby. And a small beach bar that serves the best cocktails. And to rent a boat in Pylos. Luckily, I had enough time to do it all. A deep sigh of happiness escaped my lungs as I opened a book I had just grabbed from the shelf. Slowly dozing off, I was trying to keep my eyes open. This spot is just too beautiful to fall asleep. That day was all about enjoying this magnificent place, the next day I would find my way to the beach just around the corner. Blissful!
The 3-room apartments are all located on the ground floor. That is why the option ‘As high up as possible’ is only available for 2-room apartments.
Book your Paris Village breakfast at the reception desk and a breakfast basket will be waiting for you at the bar at 8:30 every morning. The basket contains 5 breakfast products: fresh bread, 2 types of jam/marmalade or honey, cheese and fresh fruit. One product varies every day, from cake/croissants to brioche, from eggs to yoghurt or olives/olive paste. The basket does not contain any drinks. You can order and pay for your drinks separately at the bar or get your own.
