Wake up quietly while the warmth of the morning sun enters through the balcony doors. Then experience the ultimate feeling of happiness: floating in the infinity pool, surrounded by tranquillity and unspoiled nature. It sounds almost too good to be true, but a few days ago I ran into this dream at Petra & Fos Boutique Hotel. Since then I do nothing but enjoy!

I arrived at this beautiful spot after a walk through the picturesque Itilo: a cute village with stone roads and ancient monuments. Large pear trees provided shade and I sampled the ripe fruit. Just when I saw the beach, a beautiful hotel caught my attention. Built of local stones with wooden windows, a nice pool and cosy seating areas. What a luxury!

For a couple of days now, I've been dying to get to the pool. What shall I do today, I think. A massage? Bubbling in the jacuzzi? Or a trip to one of the hidden beaches and finish in a taverna? Maybe I should stay here a little longer to enjoy all the beauty this hotel has to offer!
