I love that feeling I get when I find myself on Rhodes. You can visit historic monuments, marvel at gorgeous butterflies and enjoy pleasant conversations with locals any time. Which is exactly what happened recently, as I was enjoying a cup of coffee on a patio. A friendly man struck up a conversation by asking if I had been enjoying the Greek island. It wasn’t long before he told me about his gorgeous holiday location and invited me to come spend a few days there.
Evgenios was already waiting for me when I approached Nama Retreat. He walked me in and showed me his suites. The rooms are nice and spacious with a gorgeous view. He then went on to show me around the estate and we ended up on the patio with a glass of wine. Evgenios had worked in the hotel industry for years and always dreamed of creating his own little paradise on his home island. Making sure his guests are taken care of is his main priority. Before I knew it, a delicious meal was served by his family. Speaking of being taken care of!
Evgenios’ son, Savvas, organises tours of the island. He picked me up the next morning to show me around Petaloudes, the valley of butterflies. We spent some time spotting remarkable butterflies flapping about in the greenery. When we returned to Nama Retreat, I got comfy by the pool with a delicious drink. What a magnificent spot on this stunning island!

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
