My next destination is said to be the best sunset spot in Santorini. With that in mind, I couldn’t wait to arrive at Vino Houses. Tiny roads waving in between white and blue cottages led me to the villa. On my way up, I couldn’t resist to stop every now and then to absorb the stunning view of the clear blue water. The sun was reflecting in the sea, something I could stay and watch for centuries.
That is when I noticed someone in the distance, cheerfully waving at me. I had arrived at the villa. Yota was friendly. He introduced himself and spoke of his elegant and luxurious villas with pride. Especially the location with its magnificent view of traditional vineyards seemed to make his eyes light up. I could see why. To celebrate my arrival, Yota poured us a glass of wine and we toasted to life.
As I was walking to my room, I could only agree with Yota. His villa is magnificent. The sleek yet stylish interior is right up my alley. The villa perfectly matches my image of the island: cosy white and blue cottages. It comes fully equipped and I certainly enjoyed the luxury. A refreshing dive in the private pool completed the experience. I'm not sure what made me sleepier, floating around in the exquisite swimming pool or the warm sun on my skin. What I do know is that this little palace definitely stole my heart.
