Wow... As I arrived at Anema Luxury Suites & Villas, the view left me speechless... This location is a perfect mix of traditional charm, nature and freedom. In a rural setting surrounded by vineyards and farms. I stared at the horizon and marvelled at the gorgeous view of the Anafi and Amorgos islands. The owners had been inspired by the Greek history on Santorini when building their villas. Built with attention to detail, each villa is unique while incorporating the characteristic white and blue colours of the island. With true Greek hospitality, the owners made me feel right at home.
Each villa has its own private swimming pool, a separate entrance and a patio with barbecue facilities. What a dreamy location... I decided to unwind on the patio before strolling over to the beach of Vourvoulos just 400 metres away. A beach with black sand, just like all the other beaches on Santorini. I found a traditional tavern where I decided to have a bite to eat. Pitas with tzatziki and some Greek red wine... Hmm... It sure was good to be back in Greece.
