When I arrive on Zakynthos and get into my rental car, I do not quite realise what kind of paradise I am about to enter. The sun is shining on my face and after a short ride I arrive at a narrow road that goes right through beautiful olive trees. Once I arrive at the entrance gate I am amazed. Wow! It's beautiful here.
Owner Dionysios is already waiting for me, he gives me a welcome drink and we walk around the estate. If you are named after the Greek god of wine, enjoyment is in your genes", says Dionysios. And the nice thing is that Dionysios is only too happy to share his passion for the good life with his guests. Dionysios tells me that he has named Leeda's Village after his daughter, Leeda, whom he loves very much. After a walk through the olive groves we end up at one of the picnic benches that are spread over the terrain. Dionysios had brought a bowl of olives from his own land. Together we chat and enjoy a nice drink and the fresh olives.
After Dionysios has given me all kinds of tips about what to do in the neighbourhood, we walk back to the accommodation. I have been invited to join them for dinner, they have organised a joint barbecue with produce from their own vegetable garden. It smells delicious already! I am looking forward to the coming week here at Leeda's Village, there is a great atmosphere here: casual, personal and I'm being cared for as if I'm staying in a highly rated hotel.

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
