Thanks to the warm welcome by the owner, Petros, a holiday at Azzure Vista Villa feels like coming home. He had invited me for a week at one of his beautiful villas on Zakynthos. When I arrived, he surprised me with a welcome basket filled with all kinds of traditional products. I couldn’t wait to prepare my very own delicious Greek meal! As I entered the living room, the authentic interior made me feel right at home. The villa is equipped to the fullest. A great place to unwind. Outside, the infinity pool was glistening in the sun. But the best part of this villa is the stunning view of the azure blue sea and the green mountains of this Greek island. Surrounded by peace and quiet, with lots of privacy, it felt like I was all alone in the world.
I wanted to thank Petros, so I invited him for a drink on the private patio. Petros told me all about his passion to help travellers discover the beauty of Zakynthos. Snorkelling with turtles and canoeing are his favourite activities. And he loves to show off the natural reserves on the island. We shared some ouzo with the sound of waves smashing into the rocks in the background.
Petros would take me snorkelling the next day. Hopefully, I would get to see some turtles. For now, we toasted to the beautiful Azzure Vista Villa and to my magnificent week away from home!
Due to the extreme weather conditions, the path to the sea and the small deck with the sunbeds is no longer accessible. Petros, the owner, is doing everything he can to fix it as soon as possible.

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
