Why haven't I been here before? Campania has already stolen my heart… As I am driving my fiat 500 through Campania, I discover the beautiful region around Naples. I enjoy the different landscapes, the stunning views and the picturesque villages that I pass. You will find the famous Amalfi Coast here and the mysterious Roman cities: Pompeii and Hercalaneaum. To not mention the unique islands of Capri and Ischia! It is not surprising that artists discovered this area centuries ago and used it as a source of inspiration. Touring around this great region, I always end up at the most beautiful locations. Campania is known for its famous buffalo mozzarella and olive oil between the rolling, green hills. A perfect region to completely unwind!
Whether it's a cosy family vacation, a few days away together, or a romantic honeymoon, it's all possible during a holiday in the sun in Campania. No shortage of excellent addresses! My favourite Italian places to stay: cosy agriturismos in the interior, stylish apartments, picturesque boutique hotels or beautiful, luxurious hotels right by the sea. My sites in Campania are all modern and authentic. Like other destinations, I have unique, small-scale addresses, so they are sometimes quickly booked during the holidays. So be quick if you want to book a holiday in this beautiful region. Are you not yet sure where your flight holiday is going? I drive through a typical Italian rolling landscape in my rental car. I'm looking forward to this trip. What a unique region Campania is! As a true lover of wine and cheese, I am entirely in the right place in this part of Italy. I admire the most beautiful excavations and visit an authentic farm where the tastiest buffalo mozzarella is made. I also walk a special route along the Amalfi coast. It is not the first time I have come to Italy, and I have already seen many beautiful places. But this southern region of the 'boot' was still on my wish list. Campania Felix; is the happy land, and I can see why the Romans called it that. In the widely acclaimed and mythical city of Sorrento, I am enchanted by fascinating buildings. I walk through typical Italian alleys full of shops and bars. Along the way, I stop for a small glass of Limoncello… auguri alla vita! Cheers to life!
The weather in Campania is wonderfully warm in the summer, and the sun shines strongly with temperatures that can reach 35 degrees. The temperature rarely drops below 10 degrees in winter. However, the best time to travel is from the end of April to October. The temperatures are then somewhat higher, and the chance of precipitation is smaller. Like many other parts of Italy, the weather depends on the seasons, but staying here from May can be nice. In the summer months, the temperature is around 27 degrees, in my opinion, the best temperature for a perfect summer holiday!
