As I arrived at Il Palmento, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I saw cute little towers wherever I looked. The owner Marcello told me that the towers are called ‘trulli’ and they are typical of the Puglia region. When I asked about their wine, a smile appeared on his face and he told me all about it. Il Palmento owes its name to a centuries-old method of pressing grapes. You'll see and taste this wine tradition everywhere. He proudly poured me a glass.
