Ciriaco had recommended the historic town of Posada, so that is exactly where I went. I would be spending the week at his pride and joy, Agriturismo Su Vrau. The entire Carzedda family had welcomed me the night before and I slept like a baby that night. Situated on a hill, the farm offers a breathtaking view of Posada and I had spent all morning enjoying the sight. Now the time had come to meet all of that medieval beauty in person.

I took the rural road from Su Vrau and absorbed the picturesque landscape from the comfort of my car. The clear blue water of the sea in the distance caught my eye. My thoughts wandered to the tips I had received from the owner earlier, including to spend a sunny day at the beach: ‘It will feel like you landed in the tropics, Eliza. I'm sure you'll love it there!’. No doubt, he had given me plenty of ideas about how to spend my day! Would I visit a typical Sardinian cheese factory or relax  by the pool at the farm? I refocused on the bumpy road in front of me. First, it was time for some culture in Posada!
