With a big smile on my face, I got out of my red fiat and waved at the owner who had been waiting for me. "How was your trip, Eliza?", Paolo asked. "Stunning, as always. The green hills of the Val di Noto will never cease to surprise me". The owner gave me a grand tour of the Agua Green estate and its ten cottages surrounded by greenery. Close to the sea and with olive trees all over the place. The grass looked so inviting. Before walking onto the estate, I said: "Paolo, wait!" I took off my sandals and felt the grass tickle my bare feet. "There, much better", I laughed and followed Paolo onto the estate.
The light and modern cottages stand out between the greenery. There is lots of space between them, so each apartment offers a sea of serenity and space. I sank into a lounger on the private patio. What a gorgeous view of the hills and the sea in the distance."You can even hear it if you listen carefully", Paolo told me.
I closed my eyes and listened. Suddenly, the logo of Agua Green flashed before my eyes, which I had seen on a sign by the entrance. The third letter is a drawing of a seagull with its wings forming the ‘u’. I looked around and absorbed the scenery, the spaciousness of it all and the greenery. Would I be renting a bike to explore the nearby towns? Or would I take a dip in the large swimming pool? I felt free like a seagull!
