This typically Portuguese holiday home is situated in a gorgeous spot near the touristy town of Albufeira. The peace and quiet is amazing just like the views of the area and the sea. I strolled around the gorgeous garden, under the pergolas with colourful bougainvilleas, admiring all of the characteristic Azulejos. These unique Portuguese tiles tell the story of the former fishermen’s town of Albufeira and they look magnificent!
From the comfort of the pool, I enjoyed the atmosphere of this delightful holiday location. After a refreshing dip, I passed the garden on my way to the apartment. The interior of the apartment is just as atmospheric as the exterior: just as I had expected! As the night fell, I walked from Balaia Sol to the centre to try one of their typically Portuguese fish restaurants. Such a unique place!
