Hotel Abaco Altea is a location after my own heart. It is passionately run by Adelina & Thomas, who met in Switzerland while studying hotel management. How romantic that they now run this beautiful place together! Thomas grew up in Altea, his parents built this fantastic hotel and he decided to return to 'his' Altea to help sell it. But in the end, he stayed and instead of doing away with the hotel, they made it even more beautiful and expanded it from six to eighteen rooms.
And I can completely understand why they have kept Abaco Altea for themselves. Every day I wake up here is a gift. In the bedrooms, many beautiful details such as fine cushions, cosy niches and subtle decoration on the walls have been used. The rest of the rooms are also very special. The wooden beams on the ceiling have been retained, as have the original stone walls, which have been beautifully incorporated in various places. And then I almost forget the sturdy wooden doors that are still in use, beautiful!
When I got here, I was treated to a lovely glass of cava and strawberries, and on my bed were rose petals. What a welcome! I am also well looked after on the roof terrace and the patio, where I can eat and drink in peace. And I don't have to search for wonderful places in the area myself either, because Adelina & Thomas love to tell me exactly where to go. I have already been to the picturesque village of Guadalest and tomorrow I will go to Muro de Alcoy. I'd love to stroll through this beautiful town with its old streets and admire the authentic buildings there.

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself.
