When I booked by stay at one of the Al Jatib cave homes, I wasn’t quite convinced of its charm. Sleeping in a cave: I imagined it to be a claustrophobic, humid and spooky experience. I was so wrong!
When I arrived at the apartments in the hills of gorgeous Granada, it was like walking straight into a fairytale. The cute little white houses were carved from the rock with so many authentic details. They are light, spacious and squeaky clean on the inside. Plus, there is a beautiful swimming pool outside! As my thoughts sank deeper into the fairytale, I heard Luc Compoit, the owner, laughing behind me. My enthusiasm had made him laugh. He said: ‘Don't forget to try our hammam and Arabic tea house'. What a unique location. No ghosts, all fairies!

When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
