Just the drive up the meandering little roads, past picturesque white towns and valleys with stunning olive groves and farms alone is well worth it. When I arrived at Hotel Cortijo Bravo on the first day of my holiday, it was like driving straight into a fairytale. The elegant white palace on top of the hill contrasts with the blue sky and towers over the impressive landscape like a burrow. I was told that the marquess who lives there had ordered the construction of this majestic new hotel himself. Honestly, it looks like it was always there, like a beacon of modern comfort, style and beauty in the Andalusian sun.
Back home, when the rain is splashing against the windows, I often recall my holiday with the marquess of Hotel Cortijo Bravo. The avocado and mango trees, the culinary breakfasts and lunches... The relaxing siestas by the pool, the majestic view and mouthwatering dinners served with so much love every night... In just a couple of weeks, I'll be returning to the majestic comfort of my favourite hotel in Andalusia once again. And I can tell you it will not be the last time.
