Hacienda Fresneda Maria is such a nice place! It was just what I’d been looking for and I felt at home right away. I had arrived in the breathtaking inlands of Spain and found myself surrounded by a spectacular landscape, national parks and magnificent mountains. I was in for a treat!
From the patio by the pool, I enjoyed a beautiful green landscape with mountains in the distance. What a view! You’re treated to the same panoramic view from the pool so I would be sure to take some refreshing dips in the days ahead. The room was such a great place to come home to. Soft pillows, a comfy bed to dream away in... And light colours everywhere for a relaxing touch to the interior. Another comforting though is the fact that breakfast is included. I couldn’t wait to start my day surrounded by all the beauty the next morning.
I was about to visit the town of Antequera and stroll around its little streets full of white houses, beautiful squares and remarkable buildings including a castle on top of a hill. Teeming with anticipation, I also planned to walk around one of the natural parks in the area including El Torcal de Antequera. This natural reserve features a unique landscape full of rocks in remarkable shapes. Definitely something I wanted to see with my own eyes. And because I also came to Spain for the food, I would ask about the best place to tickle my taste buds.
