I was walking along the coastline of Castell Platja d’Aro, with my feet in the water. To wake myself up, I had taken a dip in the refreshing water moments earlier. I had arrived at my holiday destination by the Costa Brava the day before: B&B La Vista Brava, owned by Tim and Nelleke from Belgium. This part of the Spanish coast features rugged cliffs and vibrant coastal towns. And yet, the beach destination has a lot more to offer than sun, sea and sand alone. I had rented a bicycle to explore the area later in the afternoon.

After my enchanting beach walk and refreshing dip, I drove back to the Bed & Breakfast. Nelleke was waiting for me with some delicious breakfast. It only took about five minutes to drive back. I walked over to the patio and picked myself a nice spot. Tim approached my table. ‘What would you like to drink, Eliza?’, He asked. ‘A cup of coffee, please’, I responded. ‘Consider it done!’, he said laughing. I took a sip of my coffee when Nelleke approached with a tray full of deliciousness. ‘Enjoy, Eliza!’, she beamed. The bright colours of the fresh fruit drew my attention. I decided to start with those. Breakfast was so delicious that I almost forgot to enjoy the view. The patio offers a magnificent view of the sea and the green scenery of the Costa Brava. I laughed. Hence the name: "La Vista Brava"! I took another content bite of my fruit salad. What a place to spend some time!

The best way to discover your destination is by car!

Are you booking a flight holiday? Then a rental car of the lowest category (Small Class) is selected as standard for your trip and you have the option of upgrading the rental car. You can pick up the rental car at the airport and drive to your accommodation yourself. 

Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
