Catalonia is one of my favourite destinations in Spain. Whenever I'm there, I like to pay a visit to Arianel la Bed & Breakfast. The sun was slowly setting as I drove my rental car through the beautiful, orange-lit Catalan landscape.
I arrived at the entrance and a deep sign escaped my lungs; as if I had just come home. Ariane, the owner, greeted me and asked about my trip. I put down my suitcases and got comfortable in the garden together with Ariane. Her husband was barbecuing and cute paper lanterns were scattered around the garden. So much atmosphere! I was offered a plate with all kinds of deliciousness from the barbecue. Who am I to decline?
After dinner, Ariane had a question for me. She was going to go on a hike in the area and asked if I felt like joining. This sounded like music to my ears and I answered: 'Sure, let’s do it!'.
The sun had almost set and I felt satisfied after a day well spent. Completely relaxed, enjoying the stunning view; I couldn’t imagine a better way to conclude my day. While relishing in the anticipation of tomorrow’s hike and the rest of the week!

Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
