When Jorge recommended Hacienda Buen Suceso, I didn’t hesitate and left for Gran Canaria right away. What a great location: not far from the bars and restaurants of vibrant Las Palmas, close to beautiful towns such as Arucas and a wealth of outdoor sports options. Perfect for a week away from home.
I spent the entire week going all out. Hiking around all of the "caminos reales", mountain biking up the (properly asphalted) mountain roads and touring the rugged, inhospitable landscape. What a great way to clear your head, though taxing on the body!
My muscles were aching all over from the intense week, so i spent a day at the hacienda to discover how relaxing this historic estate really is. The beautiful setting soothes the mind and the jacuzzi and Turkish steam bath do the same for the body. And when I found out about their massages, I promptly added another week to my holiday. Time for some well-deserved relaxation after an intense holiday!
