As I sipped my wine, I realised what a remarkable spot I had found. I was enjoying the sun outside the apartment at Finca La Parra on Gran Canaria and looking around with a dreamy gaze in my eyes. My thoughts took me back to the day before, when I had met Elvira, the owner, at a local art exhibit. She had told me about her work as an interior designer and her latest project: converting her house into apartments. I couldn’t wait to see the result with my own eyes. As if she had read my mind, she invited me to come take a look.
When we arrived at Finca La Parra, Elvira explained that she had lived in the house with her husband and children for years. When the children had moved out, the house was too big for her and her husband alone, so they decided to split it into separate apartments. Perhaps that is why I felt at home right away. The cosy seating areas, wooden furniture and beautiful kitchen turn each apartment into a true ‘holiday home’. Every detail was taken into consideration and each piece of furniture tells its own story. A perfect location for fans of intelligent and authentic interiors, local architecture and serenity. Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
