Hmmmmmmm! I licked my fingers. The owner of Monnaber Nou, from the Mayordomo family that has owned the estate for over a hundred years, had treated me to fresh rolls with olive oil and beautiful glossy olives. Picked from their very own olive groves which I was overlooking from my private porch. ‘You should come back during harvest season sometime to see our production process’, my host said in an inviting tone.
Duly noted! The hotel reminded me of a castle as well as a traditional farm and I would love to come back for more one day. The vast estate is located on a hillside and breathes luxury and pampering. It’s a perfect starting point to explore Mallorca. The owner told me about the impressive hiking routes of Serra de Tramuntana; a must-see.
