What a great find. Strolling around the garden of Apartments Nure Cel Blau, it was clear that I was back on Menorca. This cute location was built in a typical Menorcan style, very authentic, just the way I like it. A quiet place for me to unwind... I was in for a treat!
I had come to Menorca for an active holiday full of discovery. But a lazy day on the patio by the pool was just too tempting to pass on. I had brought a good book and imagined myself relaxing in the sun. The apartment was tidy and I had a private patio to enjoy some delicious Spanish wine that evening. The owner had told me that a gorgeous sunset is just a short walk away, so I decided to check that out.
My island exploration would have to wait until the next day. One of the places I was set on visiting is Cala del Pilar. A gorgeous location surrounded by lots of greenery and a hike through a forest is the only way to get there. After the hike, I rolled out my towel to enjoy the beautiful view. Another item on my list was to walk the Cami de Cavalls trail. It's about 185 kilometres long and runs along the entire coast. I couldn’t wait to see what towns and beaches the trail would take me to.
