"As serene as this...", I sigh with happiness. I look at the former white farmhouse, which in all its perfection, quietly graces the sun. In front of me floats the pool which looks like a small lake that Mother Nature could have made here. And the olive trees, too, move slowly on the wind. Sometimes you come to places where you feel like the rest of the world doesn't exist. I met owner Anna that morning here in the beautiful countryside of Menorca. "Binigaus Vell has been owned by the Triay Barber family for many years. We used to grow grain on the 220 hectares of land and produce milk. But now we have turned it into a place where you literally lose track of time. Where you enjoy yourself and nothing else," she said, smiling.
And I understand now after one day exactly what she means. Is it actually Monday or Tuesday today? My stomach rumbles softly. What time is it? Pure enjoyment, I think to myself and get up for a wonderful meal.
