I always start my holiday on Tenerife with a hike to clear my head and enjoy the island’s stunning nature. Just as I walked out of Esperanza Forest, I saw Jose between the trees coming my way. I had met him during my last trip to Tenerife. He had told me all about his finca, which is surrounded by gorgeous fruit trees. Going by the smile on his face, he remembered me as well. In half English/half Spanish, he told me that his beloved Finca La Majadera was just around the corner. This had to be destiny at play! I couldn’t let an opportunity like that pass me by, so we walked over to his pride and joy together.
Before long, he led me into the finca’s garden. He walked over to one of many trees and picked me a pear. I looked around and saw bags full of fresh plums, pears and grapes scattered around. Jose told me he doesn’t pick everything himself because his guests love to join in on the fun. As we continued further into the garden, I noticed something that made me forget about all the fruit. The view from this garden is absolutely magnificent! I could even see Gran Canaria in the distance. Jose revealed that one of the apartments was available for the night... And my destiny was sealed.

Are you booking a holiday with own transportation? Then the rental car is not included in your trip and you can (at some destinations) book the rental car if you are interested. When you book your rental car, you can pick it up at your destination and drive to your accommodation yourself. The transport to the pick-up point of the rental car is arranged by you.
